MED NAUTILUS DATA CENTER

Mediterranean Nautilus Turkey, part of the Telecom Italia Sparkle Group, established a unique state of the art Telehouse and Data Center facility located in Yenibosna, Istanbul. The building was constructed to meet the highest standards, ensuring an extremely secure and resistant structure, designed for optimal Telecommunication and Cloud Services. The Building will serve as the Landing Station of the MedNautilus’ Cables System.

The 2,000 square meters DC provides equipped space serving some of the most reputable operators and service providers in Turkey, refurbishment and upgrade projects of the remaining part are ongoing.

At MedNautilus Data Center, servers are located in an extra-secure environment for housing the equipment, featuring top-of-the line security systems that incorporate intruder alarm systems, 24-hours CCTV cameras and security patrols.

Power and Cooling

Electricity Supplied at 31.5KV from Istanbul power distribution utility:

2.1 MW Utility Power Feed (main breaker then power divided into 2)

1+1 Redundant 1250 KVA Transformers:

2 x 1250 KVA Dry Type Transformer
2 x 1250 KVA Distribution Bar. Coupled if required

1+1 Redundant 600 KVA UPS for 220V AC Uninterruptable AC Power:

3 x UPS (IGBT type) working in parallel on each bus. Total 480 KW UPS Power on each bus with 10 minutes battery time at full load.

2:1 Redundant 72KVA Rectifier System and UPS for -48V DC power:

72 KW Delta modular Rectifier working on each bus with 280 minutes battery time at full load.

1+1 Emergency Generators with Automatic Generator Start and Switchover Setup in case of utility Power failure:

2 Generator Sets, one for each distribution bus. 800 KVA standy power and 1100 KVA for each electrical bus. Active in less than a minute in case of Utility Power cut.
